For her 7th Birthday, my daughter Julia wanted a rock star-diva party. So I was up to the task to create the ultimate rock celebration for my little cupcake. We created these cute postcard invitations with Kodak Gallery. The Whimsical Cupcake Studio in Edmonton designed this gorgeous giant cupcake. The treat bags contained some chocolates, music pen with "I rock", bracelets, temporary tattoos, rock theme pencils and notepads.
I even decided to personalize the water bottles for the kids...They love to see their names in print, so the bottles were definitely a hit. Every child also had the opportunity to colour and decorate their own guitar (which I was able to find in Michaels). We even had our own photo booth - every little rock star posed with their decorated guitars or a microphone. We played lots of fun games and I think everybody enjoyed themselves. It was a little bit of work but there is nothing more rewarding than hearing at the end of the day those magical words: "Mommy, you are the best!"
